Cleveland Browns

Who will be the QB in Cleveland?
Rookie QB class may need time to develop
By: Jake Gordon | Feb 3 2016, 2:02 pm

Who's next? That's the question at quarterback (again) for the Cleveland Browns now that they have made it clear they will move on from Johnny Manziel in March. To answer the question, remember the words of owner Jimmy Haslam the evening of the season finale: "We do have the No. 2 pick in the draft." There are three quarterbacks considered worthy of a high draft pick. The Browns could stay at No. 2 and take one, or they could trade down and hope to take one. (ESPN.com)

FFToday's Take: Jared Goff, Paxton Lynch and Carson Wentz headline the QB Class of 2016. All three possess quality long-term potential but will require a bit of development before being adopted as useful fantasy signal callers. The more conservative approach for the Browns will be to turn their attention to a useful stopgap veteran via free agency or trade while they develop a rookie chosen outside the first round.
