Michael Vick (No.56) – Vick was signed be the Steelers
this week to replace Bruce Gradkowski (finger, shoulder) who was
placed on IR. Vick has no fantasy value at the moment.
Running Backs
Joseph Randle (+5) – I kept expecting the Cowboys to add
a free agent running back during camp but the signing never came.
Unless an injury occurs over the next couple weeks, it appears
Jerry Jones is serious about heading into the season with a subpar
group of running backs.
Wide Receivers
Julian
Edelman (-4) – The Patriots are notorious for disclosing very
little injury information. That leaves us very little to go on
with regards to Edelman’s absence from practice. The season is
drawing close and the team just signed Reggie Wayne. Something
smells fishy with Edelman (ankle) or…
Brandon LaFell (-12) – Like Edelman, LaFell (foot) has
been a fixture on the sideline during camp for the Patriots. There
are rumblings he could start the season on the PUP list. Not good.
Ty Montgomery (+14) – The Packers’ rookie has been
getting work with the first team in three wide receiver sets.
We’ll get a better feel for the workload between Montgomery
and Jeff Janis after the third preseason game.
