Bengals expect QB to return Thursday
Rookie quarterback Andy Dalton missed practice on Wednesday with the flu, leaving backup Bruce Gradkowski to run the Bengals offense during another sub-freezing workout at Paul Brown Stadium. Coach Marvin Lewis said Dalton should be back on Thursday. He's expected to play Saturday at Houston's Reliant Stadium, where he's never lost. The second-round pick grew up in the suburbs and played two games there in high school and another for TCU. (SI)

FF Today's Take: The Bengals 24-year-old quarterback threw for 3,398 passing yards and 20 touchdowns this year, and will be relied upon heavily in Cincinnati's first playoff game since losing to the New York Jets in a wild card match-up in January of 2010. Looking ahead to next season, Dalton will be an intriguing fantasy option considering the pair of athletic wide outs that the Bengals have in A.J. Green and Jerome Simpson.
