2020 Outlook
Depth Chart
Jackson's return to Philadelphia could not have turned out better for the 13-year veteran. Eight catches for 154 yards and a couple of scores in a 32-27 win over the Redskins. Eagles fans were on cloud nine and fantasy owners who used a late-round pick on him thought they had the steal of the draft. Unfortunately, Jackson caught just one more pass for five yards as injuries derailed his season.

The Eagles used their first-round pick on Jalen Reagor to presumably learn and eventually replace Jackson as the deep threat for Carson Wentz. Until that happens, and if Jackson can stay healthy - something he has not done since 2016 - Jackson could be a massive value late in drafts.

Fellow veteran Alshon Jeffery is likely going to miss the start of the season due to a Lisfranc injury suffered against the Giants in Week 17 of 2019. JJ Arcega-Whiteside was somewhat of a disappointment in his rookie season, and Reagor is a rookie who will have a limited offseason due to COVID-19. Wentz will look to lean on his trusted weapons, and Jackson and his tight end duo will be heavily utilized in 2020.

Injury High ankle sprain for DeSean Jackson
Injury bug bites Jackson again
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 23, 9:21 am

Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles believe WR DeSean Jackson suffered a high ankle sprain last night but he is undergoing an MRI today to see if he might need surgery, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: It's going to be a lost season for Jackson who just couldn't stay healthy, dealing with hamstring and ankle injuries. He's likely to miss a few weeks making it difficult for fantasy owner to keep him on the roster. The Eagles are still carrying Alshon Jeffery on the active roster despite not playing.

Injury DeSean Jackson expected to play Week 7
Hamstring injury
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Oct 21, 11:56 am

Philadelphia Eagles
Ealges injury status for Giants, per Pederson: OUT Miles Sanders Zach Ertz Malik Jackson Alshon Jeffery IN DeSean Jackson Lane Johnson Avonte Maddox Duke Riley (Tim McManus on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Jackson last played in Week 3 against the Bengals and has 10 catches on the year. He'll be a welcome addition for the Eagles depleted receiving corps but will be a risky play fantasy owners in Week 7. The wait continues for Alshon Jeffery.

Injury Miles Sanders, Zach Ertz expected to miss Week 7
Ertz out for 3-to-4 weeks with ankle injury
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Oct 19, 1:25 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles expect Miles Sanders to miss Thursday night's game with knee injury... Zach Ertz also expected out for 3-to-4 weeks with an ankle injury, according to sources. (Chris Mortensen on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Eagles have been decimated with injuries this season to their offensive skill position players. Boston Scott will be a hot pickup off the waiver wire this week ahead of his matchup against the Giants. Travis Fulgham is the only Eagles receiver considering in fantasy until DeSean Jackson and/or Alshon Jeffery return from injury.

Injury DeSean Jackson, Jeffery out for Week 6
Eagles continue to be thin at wide receiver
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 16, 3:07 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
#Eagles status report for the Ravens game: OUT: S Marcus Epps (rib), T Lane Johnson (ankle), G/T Matt Pryor (illness), LB Duke Riley (rib), WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring), WR Alshon Jeffery (foot), CB Avonte Maddox (ankle). QUESTIONABLE: CB Darius Slay (concussion). (Jeff McLane on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Another week without Jackson and Jeffery at receiver for the Eagles means Travis Fulgham and Greg Ward will once again command the bulk of targets from Carson Wentz against the Ravens. Fulham received 12 targets last week against the Steelers finishing with a 10-152-1 line.

Injury DeSean Jackson, Jeffery out for Week 5
Hamstring injury for Jackson
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 9, 4:10 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
#Eagles status report for Steelers game: OUT: WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring), WR Alshon Jeffery (illness, foot), CB Avonte Maddox (ankle). (Jeff McLane on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Eagles will run out their depleted wide receiving group again this week. Greg Ward, John Hightower and Travis Fulgham were the top wideouts for Carson Wentz in Week 4. In a bad matchup against the Steelers, none of the pass catchers are desirable fantasy options.

Injury Dallas Goedert expected to miss a couple weeks
Small fracture in his ankle
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Sep 29, 10:15 am

Philadelphia Eagles
#Eagles TE Dallas Goedert has a very small fracture in his ankle that won’t require surgery, per source, but he’s expected to be out at least a couple weeks. Another blow to Carson Wentz’s supporting cast. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Goedert has become a low-end TE1 this season thanks to the lack of weapons on the outside for the Eagles. DeSean Jackson is dealing with a hamstring injury leaving John Hightower and Greg Ward to see more opportunities. TE Zach Ertz should be heavily targeted in Week 4 against the 49ers.

Injury Jalen Reagor expected to play
Shoulder injury
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Sep 12, 11:05 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles’ first-round pick Jalen Reagor, who was limited some at practice last week before practicing in full Friday due to a shoulder injury, will play today vs. the Washington Football Team. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Reagor's shoulder injury was expected to keep him sidelined to start the season. Surprise. He will join DeSean Jackson and Zach Ertz as the top targets for Carson Wentz against Washington in Week 1. Fantasy owners with the luxury of not forcing the rookie into their lineup might elect to wait a week just to make sure he isn't limited in Week 1.

Injury Jalen Reagor leaves practice with shoulder injury
Eagles continue to be bothered by receiver injuries
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Aug 30, 1:20 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
#Eagles first-round WR Jalen Reagor left practice early today with a shoulder injury, source said. At this point, there is optimism it isn’t serious, but he’ll undergo tests to be sure and know the full extent of the ailment. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: It wouldn't be an NFL season without the Eagles having problems keeping their pass catchers healthy. Alshon Jeffrey (foot) remains on the PUP list. Don't be surprised if Greg Ward sees some early-season run in the offense next to DeSean Jackson.

Injury Eagles' Marquise Goodwin opts-out of 2020 season
Eagles wide receiver depth takes a hit
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Jul 28, 12:47 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
Source: #Eagles speedy WR Marquise Goodwin plans to opt-out for the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns. He has informed the team, who traded for him during the draft. Goodwin has a 5-month daughter after his wife previously had three miscarriages. Family is the most important. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: It was going to be tough for Goodwin to have a significant role in the offense but his decision places more significance on DeSean Jackson to remain healthy. Goodwin has missed 12 games over the last two seasons due to injury.
