Injury De'Zhaun Stribling placed on IR, ankle injury
Will miss at least four games
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Sep 16, 12:15 pm

San Francisco
49ers rookie WR De'Zhaun Stribling is being placed on injured reserve due to his ankle injury, sidelining him at least four games, per sources. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: We expected this would happen and now it's official. While Stribling is out, expect to see more of Demarcus Robinson for the 49ers. Robinson played 63% of the snaps in Week 1 and is worth in a look in deeper leagues as a WR5. Deebo Samuel (41.5% snaps) should also see more playing time over the next few weeks.

Injury De'Zhaun Stribling expected to miss at least a month
Sprained ankle
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Sep 13, 9:33 am

San Francisco
#49ers rookie WR De'Zhaun Stribling, who left the opener early with an injury, is out at least a month with a deltoid sprain in his ankle, sources say. Stribling is still seeking opinions, and while surgery is not currently planned, it is possible. SF will be cautious. (Ian Rapoport on X)

FFToday's Take: The rookie receiver was expected to play a decent role in the 49ers offense absent Ricky Pearsall. Instead, we'll get a healthy dose of Demarcus Robinson until Stribling is ready to return. The 49ers have a bye in Week 8.

Injury Knee issue raises concern for WR Ricky Pearsall
All options are being explored
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Jul 29, 1:20 pm

San Francisco
#49ers WR Ricky Pearsall is dealing with knee swelling related to the PCL injury he suffered last year. Team says “all options” are being explored and there is some “concern." (Nick Wagoner on X)

FFToday's Take: Pearsall has had trouble staying on the field during the first two years of his career which has seen him play in 20 games. His knee issue from last year is still giving him problems which doesn't bode well for his fantasy outlook in 2026. With Christian Kirk currently sidelined due to a calf strain, they hype on rookie De'Zhaun Stribling will be in full force while we wait for the 49ers to decide on Pearsall's treatment plan.
