|  | Trade: Browns are sending QB Kenny Pickett to the Las Vegas Raiders, per sources.
Raiders needed another backup for Geno Smith with QB Aidan O'Connell fracturing his wrist in the preseason finale and being expected to miss 6-8 weeks. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)
FFToday's Take: Although they do like sixth-round draft choice Cam Miller, the Raiders likely wanted some veteran insurance behind Geno Smith. Pickett is highly unlikely to have much of an impact in fantasy even if Smith misses time due to injury, although he may have a shot at it considering how often new OC Chip Kelly likes to play with tempo. For the most part, however, Pickett can be left on waivers in most leagues.
