Homecoming: Panthers and Vikings are finalizing a trade for WR Adam Thielen to return to Minnesota, sources tell ESPN.
The trade: Vikings get Thielen, a conditional 2026 seventh-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick.
Panthers get a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 fourth-round pick.

FFToday's Take:This trade has been in the works the last few days but the two sides were struggling on the terms. The Vikings have some depth issues at receiver with Jordan Addison being suspended the first three games. Thielen is familiar with Kevin O'Connell's offense and it won't be a surprise if he's in the starting lineup Week 1 against the Bears. Carolina will move forward with Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker opposite rookie Tetairoa McMillan.
