Any fears of a sophomore slump for Puka Nacua were completely put to rest. Following the offseason release of Cooper Kupp, Nacua took command of the Rams' passing attack. He saw a whopping 166 targets come his way, translating them into a league-leading 129 receptions, which resulted in 1,715 yards, and 10 touchdowns. He was the WR1 in PPR formats, cementing himself as an unquestioned elite fantasy asset and Matthew Stafford's favorite target. Not only did he handle the pressure of stepping into the WR1 role, he did so while delivering massive spike weeks and maintaining an excellent weekly floor.
Looking ahead to 2026, there is no reason to doubt Nacua's dominance. He's entering his third season in an offensive system that seems to be almost custom-fit for his skill set. While the Rams are expecting to have a healthier Davante Adams this season, Nacua's target share is not in question. The offensive line remains a top unit, giving Stafford the time to find Nacua at all levels.
Nacua is a locked-in, elite WR1 and a no-brainer first-round pick. Don't overthink it. He is an alpha receiver in last year's highest-scoring offense and is practically a lock for 100+ catches if he stays healthy.
