Acquired from Jacksonville early in 2025, Bigsby eventually overtook AJ Dillon as RB2, though he only saw meaningful action in two games: a blowout win over the Raiders and a meaningless Week 18 matchup with Washington. While it's possible, he'll see a bit more playing time this season, there's no doubt the Eagles want Barkley operating as the focal point of the ground game. As such, Bigsby only offers value as a handcuff for owners that snap up Barkley as their lead back.

Saquon Barkley likely to miss a game or two Suffered hamstring injury in Week 4 By: Doug Orth | Mon Oct 5, 8:50 pm

| | Eagles RB Saquon Barkley is considered week-to-week with his hamstring injury, per me and @MikeGarafolo. It’s not considered to be a long-term injury. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)
FFToday's Take: We are just wrapping up Week 4 and the Eagles are down to their third-string back already, as Barkley and Tank Bigsby (core) were injured in Philly's loss to the Rams. It turns out Bigsby was hurt worse than Barkley, as the former is reportedly headed to IR. It leaves Will Shipley as the last man standing for now. Expect the Eagles to promote Dameon Pierce and/or Jaydon Blue from the practice squad as a result. Of the two, Pierce would be the favorite to serve as Shipley's caddy until Barkley is ready to return.
