Watson made a triumphant return to the field in Week 8 after his recovery from ACL surgery. After the injuries to Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft, Watson was the most important pass catcher for the Packers, piling up an impressive six touchdowns in only 10 games. Watson enters 2026 as the potential alpha in the receiver room. He was certainly paid like it in the offseason, as Green Bay inked him to a massive contract. It's a ton of coin for a guy who has never played a full season, and has yet to net 50 catches in a single year, but things are certainly in his favor for a BOOM season. He's always scored touchdowns at an above average rate, as he has 20 career touchdowns on only 133 receptions, good for a score every 6.5 catches! The consolidation of the receiving depth chart means he'll be on the field in most formations, and with Tucker Kraft working his way back from his own ACL injury, Watson becomes both the primary downfield threat, and redzone threat. His elite physical talent, and role as a touchdown scorer make him a great standard league option, but the lack of consistent volume is going to keep him from being anything more than a WR3.

WR Jayden Reed gets 3-year contract extension
$20 million guaranteed

FFToday's Take: The Packers traded away Dontayvion Wicks to the Eagles this off-season and are moving forward with Reed, Christian Watson and Matthew Golden as their top three wideouts in 2026. The Packers tend to use five wide receivers on gameday's so even though the WR room looks enticing, we might not get the snap share's we want from the top three.
