|Possibly the most NFL ready receiver in this draft class, Bateman joins an offense that was dead last in passing yardage last season. And while I'd have visions of a Justin Jefferson season dancing in my head if Bateman was on a different offense, the fact is he's a rookie on a run-first team with a quarterback still developing as a passer. As talented and "ready" as he might be, he's certainly going to play a bigger role for the Ravens than he will as a contributor on your fantasy squad, but don't be shocked if he's Baltimore's best receiver by season's end.
| Lamar Jackson Inactive with illness|
Tyler Huntley to start
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 21, 11:27 am
|Source: #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, questionable with an illness, is out vs. the #Bears. Tyler Huntley slated to get the start. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: With and Lamar and Marquise Brown, the entire Ravens offense is losing steam. Huntley is 5-11 for 39 yards on the season. He's in the low-end QB2 territory with Rashod Bateman, Sammy Watkins and Mark Andrews as his top pass catchers.
| Lamar Jackson, Marquise Brown miss practice Thursday|
Rashod Bateman misses too
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Nov 18, 1:46 pm
|Ravens who returned to practice: DB Jimmy Smith (hip), CB Tavon Young (foot), C Bradley Bozeman (illness)
Not practicing: QB Lamar Jackson (illness), WR Marquise Brown (thigh), WR Rashod Bateman, LT Alejandro Villaneuva, NT Brandon Williams (shoulder), OLB Pernell McPhee (Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: It sounds like there are some concerns about Hollywood Brown's status for this week while Lamar is likely to play. Brown's availability on Friday will be key. If he sits this week, Rashod Bateman will move into WR2 territory if he plays.
