Injuries meant that CeeDee Lamb had a down year by his standards in 2025, but he still finished with 75 catches for 1,077 yards and three scores in 14 games. Soft-tissue issues are a concern heading into this season and George Pickens' explosion in the Dallas offense has many questioning which of these stud pass-catchers is the true "WR1" for Dak Prescott, but Lamb's efficiency remains elite enough to make him a reliable fantasy WR1. He averaged 2.27 yards per route run in 2025 and should continue to command a heavy share of the intermediate targets given the make-up of the receiver room around him. There will be competition for the deep targets now that the Cowboys have added Pickens and Valdes-Scantling over the past two offseasons, but when it's third down and the Cowboys need to move the sticks, Prescott is going to continue to look to the receiver who's gone for over 1,000 yards in five straight seasons.
Additionally, fantasy managers should expect a big jump back to the norm from Lamb in the touchdown department this year. He scored just three times in all of 2025, but his skill set remains elite so there shouldn't be any concerns about his ability to get into the end zone. The Dallas offense throws enough to sustain two high-end receivers, and Lamb remains the focal point from the slot. Don't overthink the target split. He is a locked-in, first-round WR1.
