| Panthers declare Teddy Bridgewater inactive|
P.J. Walker to start
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 22, 11:35 am
|After initially saying Teddy Bridgewater would be active, the Panthers decided to deactivate him, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Panthers waited as long as the could, evaluating Bridgewater during warmups before making him inactive. In his absence, P.J. Walker will get the start.
| Teddy Bridgewater unlikely to play|
Limited practice the past two days
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Nov 19, 2:51 pm
|After limited practice the past two days, it now appears unlikely #Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater (MCL sprain) will start Sunday against the #Lions, sources tell me and
@TomPelissero. No final call yet, but it’s headed that way. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: We'll have to wait for official word from the team which could come Friday after practice but Bridgewater owners should be making other plans. P.J. Walker and Will Grier have been splitting snaps at practice according to Tom Pelissero.
| Bridgewater may miss Week 11|
By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 16, 7:20 pm
|Teddy Bridgewater has an MCL sprain and is day-to-day for a franchise that has been cautious with injuries this season. Still, he hasn't been ruled out for Sunday. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)|
FFToday's Take: Carolina is 3-7 and has been conservative with how quickly it has brought players back from injury this season, so there's at least a decent chance he'll sit out against the Lions. P.J. Walker came on after Bridgewater's injury late in the fourth quarter and would be the expected starter in his absence should the latter get ruled out. Walker would be a decent option in two-quarterback and superflex leagues after showing off decent mobility during his college days at Temple.
| Sprained MCL for Teddy Bridgewater|
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Nov 16, 10:06 am
|#Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater suffered an MCL sprain on Sunday, source said, and he’s considered day-to-day. All things considered, pretty good news. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Bridgewater finished with a 136-2-1, 3-16-1 line against the Bucs. P.J. Walker would get the start against the Lions in Week 11 if Bridgewater is unable to go. Expect Bridgewater to be limited in practice this week.
