Aaron Jones listed as questionable Calf injury By: Mike Krueger | Wed Nov 4, 4:00 pm

| | Packers are listing RB Aaron Jones (calf) as questionable for Thursday night’s game vs. 49ers. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Jones was ruled out on Friday last week but it appears he will be a gametime decision Thursday night against the 49ers. With Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon out, Green Bay could be relying on Dexter Williams and Tyler Ervin in Week 9.

| Jamaal Williams out for Thursday night Green Bay could use Tyler Ervin and Dexter Williams at RB By: Mike Krueger | Tue Nov 3, 11:09 am

| | No new positives for the #Packers from Monday's COVID-19 testing, per source.
So as of now, three players won't play Thursday night against the #49ers: RB A.J. Dillon (positive), RB Jamaal Williams (high risk close-contact) and LB Kamal Martin (high-risk close contact). (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Green Bay has not yet decided if Aaron Jones (calf) will be able to play. If he sits, we could see Tyler Ervin and Dexter Williams (practice squad) as the two main running backs used against the 49ers on Thursday night.

| Jamaal Williams at risk to miss Week 9 Close contact of AJ Dillon By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 2, 8:10 pm

| | RB Jamaal Williams is one of the players considered close contacts for RB AJ Dillon, who tested positive for COVID-19, source said. Both did not practice today and the league is determining if they are high-risk close contacts. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)
FFToday's Take: If Williams is determined to be a high-risk close contact of Dillon, he would be ineligible to play in Thursday's Week 9 game versus the 49ers. With Aaron Jones (calf) not having practiced for over a week, Williams in question and Dillon already ineligible, Green Bay could be forced to go with some combination of Dexter Williams and Tyler Ervin. If that's what it comes to for Green Bay, Ervin may be worthy of a flex start, but only in deeper leagues.

| Aaron Jones not expected to play Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon will have increased roles By: Mike Krueger | Sat Oct 24, 6:15 pm

| | Aaron Jones said he was confident he could play through calf strain in Houston, but #Packers aren’t expected to push him. The plan is for Jones to not play v Texans, per sources. Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon will have increased roles, and Dexter Williams was called up for depth. (Ryan Wood on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Jones' calf injury seems to be minor but the Packers are famous for erroring on the side of caution with these kind of injuries. Williams is shaping up as a mid-range RB2 play with Dillon being a Flex consideration against the Texans only because we don't know for sure how much Dillon will be involved.
