Injury Broncos lose QB Bo Nix to a fractured bone in his ankle

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix will miss the rest of the NFL playoffs with an ankle injury suffered during a 33-30 win over the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round Saturday. "Not good news, on the second-to-last play in overtime, Bo fractured a bone in his right ankle. He's schedule to have surgery Tuesday of this week, which will put him out the rest of the season," Payton said. (Fox Sports)

FFToday's Take: The Broncos were able to beat the Bills in overtime but it came at a cost. With Nix out, Denver will turn to Jarrett Stidham at quarterback against the Texans or Patriots in the AFC Conference Championship game. Stidham's last significant action came in the final two weeks of the 2023 regular season.
