David Blough will start at QB for Lions Driskel will serve as the backup By: Mike Krueger | Wed Nov 27, 7:45 pm

| | David Blough will start at quarterback for Thursday’s game vs. Chicago. Jeff Driskel will serve as the backup quarterback. (Lions on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Who? If you don't know who David Blough is, don't feel bad; neither do 95 percent of the people following the NFL to any degree. Blough doesn't have the rushing ability of Driskel so his fantasy stock is the lowest of the QB2 variety. I'll be pushing Kenny Golladay down to WR3 territory on this news.

| Matthew Stafford could miss six weeks Dealing with non-displaced fractures in his back By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 18, 6:00 pm

| | Coming up on @NFLGameDay: My report on #Lions QB Matthew Stafford, who could be out as much as 6 weeks because of tiny, non-displaced fractures in the upper thoracic spine. (MLive - Kyle Meinke)
FFToday's Take: For those owners brave enough to start him, Jeff Driskel has filled in well over the last two weeks - particularly in Week 11 against Dallas. Stafford is a tough cat and played through a back issue late last season, but it's entirely possible Detroit opts to let him heal with little to play for and Driskel playing well - something that should continue in Week 12 versus the Redskins.

| Matthew Stafford misses practice Wednesday Back injury By: Mike Krueger | Wed Nov 13, 12:45 pm

| | Matthew Stafford was not practicing on Wednesday as Detroit began preparations for this week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Stafford is dealing with a back injury that he suffered on a high hit two weeks ago in Oakland. ESPN says he has fractured bones in his back, the second time in as many years he’s had such an injury. (MLive.com)
FFToday's Take: Jeff Driskel will get the start if Stafford is held out again. Driskell finished with a 269-1-1 line in Week 10 against teh Bears. We'll get a better idea of Stafford's true status after practice on Friday.

| Matthew Stafford ruled out for Week 10 Back injury, Jeff Driskel will start By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 10, 9:00 am

| | Lions’ QB Matthew Stafford has fractured bones in his back and doctors will not let him play today vs. Bears, per source. Jeff Driskell starts for Detroit. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: This move lowers the ceiling on Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones and all of the Detriot pass catchers. Driskel is a QB2 in a matchup on the road against the Bears.

| Matthew Stafford a gametime decision Back injury By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 10, 1:05 am

| | Lions’ QB Matthew Stafford is being told by some not to play Sunday in Chicago because of a back injury that has left him questionable, but he is hoping to try to play through the pain, per sources. No decision is likely until pregame warmups. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Stafford has played every game since the 2011 season so it's likely he'll give it a go despite being limited in practice this week. If he doesn't Jeff Driskel would get the start and be a downgrade to all the Detroit pass catchers.
