|Let's face it...Watkins was signed more for his leadership than his production. Injuries and ineffectiveness made his time in KC a near complete bust, and he goes from the most prolific passing offense in the league, to one of the most conservative. Watkins hasn't played a full season since his rookie year, and frankly hasn't been fantasy relevant for several years. He's certainly a mighty upgrade on Dez Bryant and some of the other ragamuffin receivers Baltimore has relied on recently, but barring a titanic shift in offensive philosophy, only one receiver on this team is going to return fantasy value, and I'd be surprised if it was Watkins.
| Lamar Jackson Inactive with illness|
Tyler Huntley to start
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 21, 11:27 am
|Source: #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, questionable with an illness, is out vs. the #Bears. Tyler Huntley slated to get the start. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: With and Lamar and Marquise Brown, the entire Ravens offense is losing steam. Huntley is 5-11 for 39 yards on the season. He's in the low-end QB2 territory with Rashod Bateman, Sammy Watkins and Mark Andrews as his top pass catchers.
| Ravens downgrade Marquise Brown to Out|
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Nov 20, 4:18 pm
|Ravens downgraded WR Marquise Brown to out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bears. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Brown was limited in practice on Friday this week so this isn't a complete shock but it is a downgrade for Lamar Jackson (illness) and the passing offense. Rashad Bateman and Sammy Watkins should do the heavy lifting at receiver in Week 11 against the Bears. Bateman checks in as a low-end WR2.
| Latavius Murray listed as Doubtful for Thursday|
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Nov 10, 4:03 pm
|Ravens injury report for Thursday night's game vs. Dolphins.
DOUBTFUL: RB Latavius Murray (ankle), RT Patrick Mekari (ankle)
QUESTIONABLE: NT Brandon Williams (shoulder), TE Nick Boyle (knee), WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) (Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: It looks like Murray is going to miss again leaving the Ravens with the old-man crew at running back. Devonta Freeman and Le'Veon Bell shared most of the running back work in Week 9. Sammy Watkins is expected to play after practicing in full on Wednesday.
| Latavius Murray, Watkins miss practice all week|
Ankle injury for Murray
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 22, 11:55 am
|Ravens RB Latavius Murray (ankle) and WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) once again did not practice Friday. They've been out the entire week.
Devonta Freeman could get his first start for Baltimore.
DE Calais Campbell and OLB Pernell McPhee also didn't practice. Likely rest days. (Jamison Hensley on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: It appears Murray is going to miss Week 7 which would likely lead to Ty'Son Williams being active for the game. A full-blown RBBC is still the likely scenario regarding who available but Freeman should get first crack at the Bengals with Le'Veon Bell and Williams mixing in as well.
