Here are the cumulative
results of the voting that took place at the FF Today board
in August. The Geeks were asked to rank their top 35 WRs.
The rankings are calculated using traditional polling measures
so that a board consensus can be reached. A big thank you
goes to Kirk Hollis for his help on this feature.

Well, a new "big three" has emerged with Holt being the
newcomer to the group. Meanwhile, WRs #4-6 appear very close in
value and the choice between the three of them probably just comes
down to personal preference. Those ranked #7-#20 are tiered off
in a fairly orderly manner with value dropping sharply after 20
receivers are gone (Price). McCardell falls out of the top 30 due
to his holdout status, but could re-emerge before we hold our drafts
depending on what happens in the coming days.
Surprises: Very few actually. These rankings are about what I would
have expected. I did think Peerless Price would rank higher, but
the Geeks are hyped at the moment about youngsters Walker and Rogers,
so his value got bumped down a little bit. The lack of votes for
Peter Warrick also surprised me, although Kelly Washington becoming
a player in Cincy probably accounts for that. Great job overall,
guys... hope this resource will be a plus come draft day!
