Josh Jacobs lands on Commissioner's exempt list
Will not be on the Packers' 53-man roster

The NFL is placing Packers RB Josh Jacobs on the commissioner’s exempt list, as @adamschefter said. Jacobs, who was charged Thursday with two misdemeanors related to an alleged incident in May, will be paid while on the list but not allowed to practice or play. (Tom Pelissero on X)

FFToday's Take: This means Jacobs won't be on the initial Packers' 53-man roster and can't attend practice or games. We don't know how long Jacobs will remain on the Commissioner's exempt list or how many games he will miss. He's got a court appearance scheduled for November 17th but its very possible the league will hand out it's discipline before then. The Packers acquired RB Kaleb Johnson from the Steelers earlier today to fill their depth chart. MarShawn Lloyd's value increases significantly as long as Jacobs remains out.
