Colts active Alec Pierce off PUP list
One step closer to returning to practice
By: Mike Krueger | Aug 27 2026, 10:19 am

Colts taking WR Alec Pierce off PUP today, per source. Been rehabbing after surgery on left ankle/heel in March. (Mike Chappell on X)

FFToday's Take: HC Shane Steichen said earlier in the week that Pierce was gearing up to practice soon. This move paves the way for that to occur. He's got roughly two weeks to get ready for Week 1. Given injury situation and the addition of Keenan Allen, Pierce is currently being drafted around WR44, Pick 97 in half-PPR leagues. That should climb if more positive reports come in the next two weeks.
