Malik Nabers had second surgery to remove scar tissue
Will he be ready Week 1?

Giants WR Malik Nabers underwent a second surgery on his knee to remove scar tissue that was causing stiffness, according to sources. I'm told the second surgery took place "multiple weeks ago" and it was described as a "clean up." This second surgery isn't expected to impact Nabers' recovery timeline. The team is still hoping the No. 1 WR will be ready for the opener. Nabers first underwent ACL and meniscus surgery on Oct. 28. (Dan Duggan on X)

FFToday's Take: These kind of clean-up procedures are not uncommon but we'll be watching Nabers closely during training camp and pre-season, gauging his progress as he hopes to see the field in Week 1. Nabers played in only four games during the 2025 season before suffering a knee injury at the end of September. The Giants have added Darnell Mooney and Calvin Austin this off-season to their wide receiver room.
