Alec Pierce dealing with rehab from ankle surgery
Clean up procedure will keep him out until training camp
By: Mike Krueger | Apr 20 2026, 3:11 pm

Alec Pierce won’t participate in the Colts’ offseason workout program, which began Monday, including the organized team activities (OTAs) in late May and June. “It’ll be training camp,’’ Ballard said of Pierce’s return. “It’s a three-month recovery.’’ (Fox59)

FFToday's Take: Pierce played through ankle pain in 2025 and finally decided to have a procedure done heading into 2026. Pierce signed a new four-year deal in March and is scheduled to be the team's top wideout this season. Pierce is coming if his best fantasy season but 47 receptions is his high-water mark for his four-year career. We'll see if he can recast himself as something more than a deep threat.
