Giants rebuilding under new HC John Harbaugh

Draft week blockbuster: The Giants are trading three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals in a deal that will include the 10th overall pick going to New York, per ESPN sources. The Giants now head into Thursday night with the 5th and 10th overall picks. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: The Bengals lost Trey Hendrickson to the Ravens earlier this off-season which left a gaping hole in their defensive line. Lawrence publicly requested a trade on April 6 and New York was able find a trade partner. This now gives the Giants two picks (5 and 10) in the top ten of the 2026 draft. It won't be a shock if the Giants use one of their first or 2nd round (2.05) picks on a defensive lineman as they are weak in that area.
