| New extension for JSN, keeps him in Seattle through 2031 Deal includes over $120 million guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 23 2026, 9:29 am

| Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year, has reached agreement with the Seattle Seahawks on a four-year contract extension that makes him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history, sources told ESPN. The deal includes over $120 million guaranteed. The Seahawks already exercised Smith-Njigba's fifth-year option for 2027 last week, and now have the two-time Pro Bowler under contract for the next six seasons. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: We new this deal was likely to come even though Seattle just exercised his 5th-year option for 2027. JSN finished 2nd in fantasy points among all wide receivers last season (119-1793-10) and his hitting his prime. The next big pay day at wide receiver will be for Puka Nacua who will be in the final year of his contract in 2026.
