49ers QB Brock Purdy also not practicing today due to his toe injury, putting Mac Jones on track to start Sunday at Tampa. (Adam Schefter on X) FFToday's Take: Purdy missed Week against the Jaguars and appears to be headed for the same fate in Week 6. In his absence, Mac Jones will get the call who's been battling a knee issue much of the season. That didn't stop him from posting a 342-2-0 line against the Rams however. He'll be a middling QB2 option with no rushing upside this week against the Bucs. Jauan Jennings (ribs, ankle) was able to return to practice Thursday but Ricky Pearsall missed and is unlikely to play this week.
