George Kittle likely to miss multiple games
Suffered hamstring injury early in opener
By: Doug Orth | Sep 8 2025, 11:10 pm

49ers Pro Bowl TE George Kittle is expected to be sidelined multiple weeks with a hamstring injury. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)

FFToday's Take: Kittle logged only 21 snaps but was targeted on four of the 14 pass plays he was on the field against the Seahawks, which speaks to how big of a day he could have had. He still managed four catches for 25 yards and a touchdown. Brock Purdy appears to be in some doubt for Week 2 after suffering (and playing through) a toe and left shoulder injury in Week 1, while Jauan Jennings is in a similar boat after he hurt his shoulder. Fantasy managers should expect Christian McCaffrey and Ricky Pearsall to handle most of the work in the passing game until Kittle returns.
