Christian McCaffrey did not practice today. Kyle Shanahan said he's not sure if McCaffrey will test the calf Saturday. Their opener against Seattle is on Sunday, just three days after the injury -- however minor it might be -- occurred. Some decisions coming in the next 48 hours. (Tom Pelissero on X) FFToday's Take: After being healthy the entire preseason, McCaffrey popped up on the injury report Thursday as being limited with a calf injury. He's now trending in the wrong direction for Week 1. Brian Robinson Jr. and Isaac Guerendo would be the main running backs if McCaffrey isn't able to go against Seattle. We'll surely have more updates on this situation over the next two days.
