A deal has been reached: Two-time Pro Bowl RB James Cook and the Buffalo Bills reached agreement a contract extension, per his agents Zac Hiller and Matt Leist of LAA. The deal includes the most guaranteed money for a running back in the last five years. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take:Cook ended his hold-in yesterday which helped move the process along and now a deal is done which is a 4-year extension and includes $30 million guaranteed. Cook posted a 1009-16, 32-258-2 line last season on his was to a RB10 finish in Half-PPR leagues. Bills GM Brandon Beane on RB James Cook's role: "We do see him as a three-down type of player. We do feel he can take more, but we like to use our three options and keep him fresh."
