Bills HC Sean McDermott said he’s being told as of now that WR Khalil Shakir should be on pace to return for the start of the season. Shakir is dealing with a high ankle sprain. (Joe Buscaglia on X) FFToday's Take: High ankle sprains can linger so even if Shakir is ready for Week 1, it doesn't mean he's going to be near 100 percent. However, it does sound like the Bills will have their top wideout in some capacity to start the season. Shakir went down in practice on 8/3. His value is currently hovering around WR44 in half-PPR leagues.
