Denver OC suggests RBs will be on "pitch count"
Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon expected to split work again

(Broncos OC) Justin Outten is really excited for the RB room. Said the RBs (Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon) will be on a pitch count throughout the season. (DNVR Broncos - Zac Stevens)

FFToday's Take: There was some hope that a new coaching staff would feature Williams and make Gordon more of a breather back in 2022, but that does not appear to be the plan. Fantasy managers should not fret, however, as Denver running backs should not lack for scoring opportunities or clock-killing opportunities with Russell Wilson under center and the Broncos sporting a solid defense. Consider Williams a high-end RB2 with occasional RB1 upside and Gordon a solid flex on draft day.
