Dak Prescott strains calf late in Week 6
Expected back after team's Week 7 bye
By: Doug Orth | Oct 18 2021, 10:00 pm

Mike McCarthy said the MRI just confirmed that Dak Prescott has a right calf strain. He will rest this week. The medical staff is “optimistic” he will be able to play against Minnesota after the bye week. (The Athletic - Jon Machota)

FFToday's Take: A player can typically return from a mild calf strain in about two weeks, so it is fair to assume that is what happened with Prescott. Most fantasy managers were prepared to be without him this week already, and it sounds like Prescott would miss one game at most if the Cowboys want to be overly cautious with him. Cooper Rush would likely get the nod over Will Grier if Prescott isn't ready for the Vikings in two weeks.
