D.J. Chark to miss significant time
Fractured ankle early during TNF
By: Doug Orth | Oct 1 2021, 12:20 am

WR D.J. Chark suffered a fractured ankle, source said. Out indefinitely. Just a brutal injury for one of Jacksonville’s best players. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)

FFToday's Take: Chark got hurt when he got rolled up on blocking on a run play. There is a strong possibility that he will not play again this season. Laviska Shenault got it going against the Bengals and figures to move into every-week WR3 consideration now that he will be a full-time wideout. Marvin Jones could see the biggest bump, however, as Chark was the only other receiver consistently seeing intermediate and deep targets over the first three games before his dud in this one. Expect Jones to be a strong WR3 option the rest of the way.
