McCarthy not concerned about Cooper

| The Cowboys have decided to take it slow with multiple players as training camp opened Thursday. Head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed in a press conference that wide receivers Amari Cooper (ankle) and T.J. Vasher (knee), defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence (back), defensive tackle Trysten Hill (knee), kicker Greg Zuerlein (back), rookie defensive lineman Chauncey Golston (hamstring) and offensive lineman Mitch Hyatt (knee) will open camp on the team’s physically unable to perform list. FFToday's Take: McCarthy went on to say that he wasn't concerned about Cooper. “I’m not concerned. ... When you see him, he’s in great shape.” Better than he was even last year, McCarthy said. Despite missing off-season workouts, Cooper along with Kicker Zuerlein are expected to be ready for Week 1.
