Green Bay QB misses start of minicamp

Aaron Rodgers wasn’t present at the start of the 8:30 a.m. team meeting to kick off #Packers minicamp, I’m told. As expected, the NFL MVP is now officially a holdout. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Rodgers has failed to show up for the team's mandatory minicamp which isn't a surprise but marks the official beginning of his holdout from practice. He remains disgruntled with GM Brian Gutekunst who has said publicly he has no plans to trade his star quarterback. Should Rodgers sit out the entire season, Jordan Love would be a big downgrade to the Packers offense as a whole and to Davante Adams specifically.
