Steelers sign Roethlisberger to new one-year deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed Ben Roethlisberger to a new contract for 2021, it was announced today. (Steelers.com)

FFToday's Take: Roethlisberger was set to count over $41 million against the cap this season, a number that needed to be reduced in order for Big-Ben to return to Pittsburgh in 2021. The Steelers implemented a short passing game strategy last season relegating him to QB2 status in fantasy. With JuJu Smith-Schuster a free agent, it's hard to imagine Ben elevating into QB1 status in 2021.
