Michael Thomas expected to have surgery
Shoulder and ankle
By: Mike Krueger | Jan 19 2021, 10:57 am

Saints’ WR Michael Thomas is likely to have surgeries on both the torn deltoid and other injured ligaments in his high ankle this offseason, per source. He knew it was likely Drew Brees’ last year and didn’t want to miss out trying win a Super Bowl with him. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Thomas was an injury bust in 2020 dealing with ankle and hamstring problems most of the season. He only played in 7 regular season games and posted a goose egg in last week's playoff game against the Bucs. With Drew Brees headed towards retirement it likely we'll see Thomas' 2021 ADP a couple rounds lower than his 1.07 ADP in 2020.
