| After MRI, Mahomes expected to return this season Dislocated kneecap, but not significant additional damage By: Mike Krueger | Oct 18 2019, 12:56 pm
| The MRI has confirmed the #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes suffered a dislocated kneecap, but not significant additional damage, sources tell me and @JamesPalmerTV. He’ll seek additional opinions to be sure. The plan is for him to return this season after a brief absence. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: This sounds like the best-case scenario for Mahomes. Assuming additional opinions don't stray, Mahomes is likely to miss a few weeks with Matt Moore holding the fort down until Mahomes returns. The Chiefs have a bye in Week 12. Adam Schefter suggests Mahomes is likely to miss three games.
