Dallas' pass defense is the worst in the league and they just
released CB Trevon Diggs on Tuesday. It's a unit in disarray.
With Malik Nabers making commercials while sidelined, Wan'Dale
Robinson has benefitted with a high-volume role. Robinson has
already set a career-high in receiving yards (1,014) and touchdowns
(4) and with two catches will set a career reception mark. He
saw 14 targets last week and should see a similar volume in Week
18.
Collins has been a tough start of late, but needs a breakout
game before the playoffs begin. He’s got the perfect opponent
in a Colts defense which has allowed the second-most fantasy points
to opposing wideouts (36.7) and have their bags packed for the
offseason.
Luther Burden has come on strong as a replacement for injured
Rome Odunze and produced his best totals of the season in Week
17 (8-138-1). He did injury his quad on the last play of the shootout
with the 49ers Sunday night, but it is expected to be minor. In
Week 18 he'll face an injured Detroit secondary which has allowed
the third-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts per game (36.3).
The bears still need a win to preserve the No.2 seed in the NFC,
while the Lions are playing for pride.
The Colts have packed in the season after a fifth consecutive
loss and will be checking tee times in Arizona by halftime. Pittman
has been a bit of a disappointment all season, despite leading
the team in receiving yards (773) and touchdowns (7). He’s
had just three 20-point outings and none since Week 9. Pittman
has 16.4 fantasy points in his last three games combined.
2) Any Packers receiver @ Minnesota
The Vikings' pass defense ranks No.3 against opposing wideouts
and will blitz the quarterback on seemingly every passing down.
The Packers wideout room has a bunch of No.2 receivers, but no
one to assert themselves as the "go-to guy." Backup
QB Malik Willis had a great day in Week 17 against Baltimore,
but the Vikings are on a different defensive level allowing just
121.8 receiving yards to opposing wide receivers. When split between
Romeo Doubs, Matthew Golden, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson and
Dontayvion Wicks there isn't much room for a huge game.
The Bengals pass defense isn’t as bad as expected, ranking
fourth in wide receiver fantasy points allowed (25.7) and just
nine touchdowns all season. You attack Cincinnati with a ground
game, they rank last allowing 28.9 FPts/G, not through the air.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders doesn’t appear to be the answer…
yet, so it’s hard to recommend any Browns receiver. Most
of the Browns just want the season to end.
