Matthew Stafford vs DET

In the pole position for the NFL MVP, Stafford got back on track last week against the Cardinals. Leading the NFL with 35 touchdown passes, Stafford faces the franchise he called home for 12 seasons. The Lions and Rams have quietly developed a bit of a rivalry over the last few seasons, and Stafford gets a banged-up Detroit secondary that is down several starters. With a Week 15 over/under high of 55.5, the scoreboard should light up in this one.

Jaxson Dart

Jaxson Dart vs WAS

The calamity of the franchise has distracted from the elite rookie season Dart has had. He’s avoided the turnovers that young quarterbacks are plagued by, and instead has put the team in plenty of positions to win despite an underwhelming cast of skill position teammates. If he can protect himself, while still moving the chains with his legs, Dart is both a high floor/high ceiling play against a Washington team that has quit on the 2025 season.

Brock Purdy vs TEN

Following a Week 14 bye, the 49er offense should be as healthy as they have been all year. Purdy has been up and down since returning from his toe injury, but the Titan defense is fresh off making Shedeur Sanders look like a hall of famer. Tennessee is yielding the 3rd most passing yards in the NFL, and 9th most fantasy points to the position.

Bo Nix vs GB, Jordan Love @ DEN

If you are a fan of violent, aggressive defense, this game is like an early Christmas present. Denver and Green Bay are among the best pass defenses in the NFL, as they feature elite pass rushers and lock down secondaries. Both Nix and Love can be pressured into making mistakes, and the team that protects the ball the best should come out on top. I expect both offenses to feature the run game in an effort to control clock and tempo. With yards at a premium, starting either of these guys means hoping for some short yardage touchdowns. With a capped ceiling, there might be better matchups to exploit in Week 15.

Justin Herbert @ KC

Although he gutted out a Monday night win with his Hamburger Helper gloved hand, I grimaced every time Herbert got smacked around in the pocket. He finished the game in one piece, but was sacked seven times, and lost yet another offensive lineman. His herculean efforts have become legendary, but the deep passing game has dried up, and the matchup against a desperate KC team at Arrowhead is just too much to overcome.
