Jacoby Jones signs with Ravens-- Wed May 9 9:30 pm -- Former Texans WR had 512 receiving yards in 2011
Former Houston Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones has agreed to terms with the Baltimore Ravens on a two-year contract. Jones was cut by the Texans last week. He caught 31 passes for 512 yards and two touchdowns last season, but he also fumbled twice in Houston's playoff loss to the Ravens. The 27-year-old Jones gives depth to Baltimore's group of receivers.

FF Today's Take:Jones' signing is of little fantasy relevance. Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith are firmly entrenched as the Ravens' top two wide outs, and running back Ray Rice and tight end Ed Dickson tend to eat up the rest of quarterback Joe Flacco's completions. Like Lee Evans last season, Jones shouldn't figure into the offense much if Baltimore's top receivers are healthy.
WR Lee Evans headed to JAX-- Sun Apr 15 10:00 am -- One-year deal expected be signed Monday
Former Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills wide receiver Lee Evans will sign a one-year deal Monday with the Jacksonville Jaguars, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Evans was traded to Baltimore in the 2011 preseason, following seven seasons with the Bills, who selected him in the first round of the 2004 draft (13th overall) from Wisconsin.(ESPN)
FF Today's Take:The Jaguars are doing their best to improve one of the weakest receiving corps in the league last season. Evans, Laurent Robinson and Mike Thomas will be the top wideouts in Jacksonville's passing game but all will have marginal fantasy value at best.
Ravens to release WR Evans-- Fri Mar 2 6:15 pm -- Former Bills star to become a free agent
Lee Evans’ stint with the Baltimore Ravens didn’t exactly begin according to plan in 2011, and now it appears his time with the AFC North champs is coming to an end. The Ravens plan to release Evans, along with cornerback Domonique Foxworth, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times. After seven productive seasons with the Buffalo Bills, Evans was disappointing during year one in Baltimore. He missed much of the season with injuries and had just four catches for 74 yards in the brief time he did play.(SI)
FF Today's Take:Evans had a forgettable year in Baltimore and, at 31, is far removed from being a lock for at least 700 receiving yards - a feat he accomplished every season from 2004 to 2008.
