TE coming off a career year
The Buffalo Bills secured their tight end position with the re-signing of Scott Chandler, the team announced. Chandler, 26, had the best year of his career in 2011, catching 38 passes for 389 yards and six touchdowns in 14 games. The new contract is a two-year deal, which allows Chandler to potentially hit the free-agent market at age 28. (Buffalo News)

FF Today's Take: The hulking tight end has shown that he can be a reliable red zone target for quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Going forward, Chandler will be an integral part of a Bills' offense that sputtered and struggled through the second half of 2011.
