Four-year, $25.9 million contract
At last, the Chargers made a splash in free agency. The team agreed to terms with former Saints wide receiver Robert Meachem on a four-year, $25.9-million contract with $14 million guaranteed, a league source said Tuesday night. Meachem will bring a big-play element back to an offense that lost Pro Bowl wide receiver Vincent Jackson in free agency hours earlier. (San Diego Union-Tribune)

FF Today's Take: While not as dynamic as Jackson, Meachem has the potential to become the #1 option for Philip Rivers and increase his fantasy value in San Diego. Lost in the shuffle in the Saints passing attack, Meachem totaled 40 catches, 620 yards & 6 TDs in 2011.
