Injury Vick expects to play Week 14     -- Mon Dec 5 10:35 pm --

Returns to practice Monday
Michael Vick returned to practice Monday after missing three games with two broken ribs, and will play this weekend as last-place Philadelphia meets the Miami Dolphins. Vick suffered two broken ribs in the Eagles’ 21-17 loss Nov. 13 to the Cardinals at home. The Eagles are 3-6 in Vick’s nine starts this year, and he has 11 touchdown passes to go with 11 interceptions. (Washington Post)

FF Today's Take: The Eagles were 1-2 without Vick, as Vince Young tossed eight interceptions and just four touchdowns. Jeremy Maclin is also expected to return, which will be important considering how well Miami's defense has played of late. Both players are obvious starts for their owners as they begin their fantasy playoff runs this week.
Injury Vick and Maclin ruled out     -- Wed Nov 30 11:25 am --

CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie also out
QB Michael Vick's broken ribs will force him to miss his third straight start when the Eagles play at Seattle Thursday night. Vince Young, who's 1-1 as Philadelphia's fill-in, will again get the nod. WR Jeremy Maclin (hamstring, shoulder) and CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) will also miss the Seahawks game. (USA Today)

FF Today's Take: As expected, Vick will not play this week. Vince Young will get another start but he won't have Jeremy Maclin available to catch the ball. The Eagles are also on a short week and playing on the road so fantasy owners should temper expectations for Philadelphia's passing game this week.
Injury Michael Vick likely to miss another week     -- Tue Nov 29 7:20 pm --

Broken ribs likley to force Michael Vick out again Thursday
Reports out of Philadelphia have Michael Vick sitting out again this week with a target of Week 14 for his return. (PhiladelphiaEagles.com)

FF Today's Take: Vince Young looks like the starter again this week. Young has thrown for 658 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions for a 79.4 quarterback rating in his two starts since Vick's injury. Look for Young to start this week and then head back to the bench after Philadelphia's extended time off after Thursday's game.
DeSean Jackson to start this week     -- Tue Nov 29 6:20 pm --

Eagles WR to play despite being benched in Week 12
Coach Andy Reid confirmed that DeSean Jackson will start Thursday's game against the Seahawks. (Jeff McLane on Twitter)

FF Today's Take: Jackson certainly wasn't at his best against the Patriots but with Jeremy Maclin likely out on Thursday, the Eagles are thin at WR. Jackson has been fairly productive with Vince Young at the helm catching 10 balls for 161 yards in his last two games. Jackson should be active for your Fantasy squad this week as an OK WR2 or good WR3.
Injury Vick misses practice Friday     -- Fri Nov 25 5:35 pm --

QB Vince Young likely to make second straight start
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is unlikely to start Sunday against the New England Patriots, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. (ESPN)

FF Today's Take: Vince Young is in line for his second straight start and he'll receive a favorable match-up facing New England. The Patriots tend to score quick and build up sizable leads, forcing their opponents to throw often.
Injury Jeremy Maclin misses practice Thursday     -- Thu Nov 24 6:15 pm --

Eagles WR likely to miss Week 12
Jeremy Maclin (hamstring, shoulder) is not participating in Eagles practice Thursday. (Philadelphia Inquirer )

FF Today's Take: Maclin practiced Wednesday but missed Thursday - not a good sign! All signs point to Maclin missing Week 12 unless he can do some major work on Friday. Riley Cooper will start if Maclin can't go. Cooper looked good last week with Vince Young at the helm.
Injury Michael Vick misses practice     -- Thu Nov 24 6:10 pm --

Vick looking like he will miss Week 12 game
Michael Vick (ribs) did not participate in Eagles practice Thursday. (Jeff McLane on Twitter)

FF Today's Take: Vick looks highly doubtful to play Sunday. He is still not moving with any sort of mobility and hasn't practiced this week. It appears as though Vince Young will get the start again for the Eagles.
Injury Vick misses Wednesday's practice     -- Wed Nov 23 7:10 pm --

Eagles could go with Young at QB again
Michael Vick is not practicing Wednesday because of broken ribs, and it's uncertain whether the Pro Bowl quarterback will play when the Philadelphia Eagles host New England on Sunday. Vick broke his two lower ribs on the second play of the Eagles' 21-17 loss to Arizona on Nov. 13 and missed last Sunday's 17-10 win at the New York Giants. Vince Young filled in and threw two touchdown passes. (ESPN)

FF Today's Take: Fantasy owners of quarterbacks and receivers matched up against the Patriots and their their 32nd-ranked pass defense should be salivating. Whoever lines up under center for the Eagles could be primed for a fantasy dream day against New England on Sunday.
Injury Vick to test ribs     -- Tue Nov 22 6:30 pm --

Eagles QB hopes to be back this week
It’s unknown whether Vick will indeed be able to play against New England, but a league source tells PFT that Vick will try to throw on Tuesday. (Profootballtalk on NBCSports.com)

FF Today's Take: Vick has a juicy matchup against the Patriots weak defense but he will have to prove in practice that his mobility and accuracy are still there. Monitor the practice reports but be prepared for an outside chance of Vince Young starting again this weekend.
Injury Young to make first start with Eagles     -- Sat Nov 19 8:00 pm --

Vick out with broken ribs
Vick won't play when the Philadelphia Eagles visit the New York Giants on Sunday because of two broken ribs. Vince Young will make his first start for Philadelphia in Vick's place. He's thrown one pass this season -- an interception. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin also won't play because of shoulder and hamstring injuries. (AP)

FF Today's Take: Riley Cooper will start in Maclin's place but Jason Avant and Steve Smith will see plenty of snaps as well. Expect to see a lot of LeSean McCoy against the Giants.
Injury Maclin, Vick listed as questionable     -- Fri Nov 18 8:15 pm --

Both are unlikely to play this weekend
Three practices down for the Eagles this week, all three without Michael Vick. For the third straight day, Vick did not participate in Eagles practice. This time, he wasn’t even there as a spectator. Neither was Jeremy Maclin. The wide receiver has been sidelined by shoulder and hamstring injuries all week. Vick continues to deal with a pair of broken ribs. (Philly Sports Daily)

FF Today's Take: While Vince Young is likely to get the start at QB, Maclin will be probably be replaced by some combination of Jason Avant and Steve Smith.
Injury Vince Young expected to start Sunday     -- Thu Nov 17 8:35 pm --

With Vick out - Young starts
Jonathan Tamari reports that players said Vince Young took all the reps again today. All signs point to VY playing. Several comments indicate that players expect it too. (Jonathan Tamari on Twitter)

FF Today's Take: Young reportedly looked good in practice and is on track to be "The Man" on Sunday. If you are in a bind and need a QB this week, Young could be decent against the Giants.
Injury Young and Kafka split reps     -- Wed Nov 16 12:07 pm --

Vick not ruled out
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will not practice on Wednesday as Philadelphia begins preparation for Sunday's game against the New York Ginats, according to head coach Andy Reid. Reid would not count out Vick to play in Sunday's game. "He's still sore. Next few days will tell," Reid said of Vick, adding that Vince Young and Mike Kafka would split reps in Wednesday's practice. (NFL.com)

FF Today's Take: As expected, Vick isn't practicing today while backups Vince Young and Mike Kafka split the reps in practice. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect HC Andy Reid to make a decision until Friday at the earliest so plan accordingly.
Injury Vick has two broken ribs     -- Mon Nov 14 12:14 pm --

Status for Week 11 uncertain
Eagles starting quarterback Michael Vick suffered two broken ribs in Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals, coach Andy Reid said at his news conference on Monday. “Michael Vick has broken ribs . . . Yeah, he broke his ribs, the lower two ribs. We’ll see in the next couple of days how things go.” (Philly.com)

FF Today's Take: Andy Reid was noncommittal on his quarterback situation for the upcoming divisional matchup against the Giants on Sunday night. Vick owners will want to follow this situation closely and have an alternative quarterback ready in case Vince Young gets the nod.
