Shiancoe not expected to re-sign
The Vikings have two young pass-catching tight ends to work with now that former Seahawk and Minnesota native John Carlson agreed to terms just moments ago. According to ESPN, the deal is worth $25 million over five years. (Minneapolis Star Tribune)

FF Today's Take: With Visanthe Shiancoe not expected to re-sign, the Vikings will move forward with Kyle Rudolph and Carlson as their main tight ends. This move deflates the value of Rudolph slightly but he should out-target Carlson in 2012 who is coming of a shoulder injury which caused him to miss all of 2011.
