|Taywan Taylor was the lesser known rookie wide receiver on the Titans in 2017 but he was seventh in targets (28) on the team and two players have now left the franchise which should open up some additional opportunities. What stands out for Taylor during his rookie season is his 14.4 yards per reception average. This ranked second on the team behind only Rishard Matthews.
The addition of Dion Lewis likely means that Taylor won't get all of the targets vacated by Demarco Murray, but the loss of Eric Decker should give Taylor a few extra looks. In typical 12-team leagues, Taylor is exclusively a player to watch, in case of injury. But his deep play potential makes him an exciting waiver add, if the coaches call his number.

Remains on PUP list

|The Titans have agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with veteran receiver Rishard Matthews.
Matthews, heading into his seventh NFL season, now has a contract that runs through the 2019 season.
Matthews remains in the team’s Physically Unable to Perform list.
FFToday's Take: Matthews has been losing ground to Taywan Taylor and Corey Davis while being absent from training camp. He remains on the PUP list for now. His fantasy value is tough to gauge at this point given we don't know what injury he's dealing with or if his absence was simply due to a holdout.

|Wide receiver Rishard Matthews, still on the physically unable to perform list with an undisclosed injury, was out on the sideline watching the first-team offense. He was in a hat and shorts and did not have any kind of wrap or brace on. Matthews has not practiced this training camp. (The Tennessean)|
FFToday's Take: Matthews hasn't participated in training camp allowing Taywan Taylor to move into the starting lineup opposite Corey Davis. Matthews can be had in double-digit rounds of fantasy drafts but given his unknown status, Taylor may be a better late-round flier.
