|Godwin was a trendy prospect prior to the NFL draft after some analysts ranked him inside their top 5 among wide receiver prospects, but on draft day, he slipped to the 11th WR selected. During his rookie campaign, he made a slight impact, but was only the 4th most targeted wide receiver. Early reports out of camp are that Godwin could earn a starting role on the outside because he's impressed the coaching staff. He's currently going undrafted in 12 team mock drafts so he'll be an interesting player to track during the remainder of the camp. If he can secure a consistent role, there could be late-round value in usage alone.

Asked to be traded
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Oct 28, 8:30 am
|From our @NFLGameDay Kickoff Show: #Bucs WR DeSean Jackson requests a trade, one that all-in Tampa Bay has resisted. Details (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: It's unclear exactly why Jackson want out of Tampa but Rapoport suggests Winston and Jackson's chemistry on the field isn't up to Jackson's standards. Any move of Jackson would be big value boost to Chris Godwin who doesn't play as many snaps as Jackson and Mike Evans.
| DeSean Jackson expected to play|
Should clear concussion protocol Sunday
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Sep 16, 1:00 am
|Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson is expected to clear the concussion protocol and play against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, a source told ESPN. Jackson missed Wednesday's padded practice, but he took part Thursday and Friday while still in the protocol. A player must be cleared by an independent neurological consultant in order to play on Sunday. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: Jackson, like many of the Bucs receivers had a stellar day in Week 1 against the Saints. With Jackson expected to play and a full complement of receivers available for Ryan Fitzpatrick, it will be difficult to trust Jackson or Chris Godwin as anything more than a flex option.
