| Sterling Shepard misses practice Thursday|

|No WRs Sterling Shepard and Tavarres King, JPP and TE Evan Engram practicing. Also no Eli Apple (suspended). (Jordan Raanan on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Shepard is battling a neck injury. He also missed practice Wednesday. Roger Lewis saw 11 targets last week against the Cardinals.
| TE Evan Engram has bruised ribs|
Sterling Shepard status remains uncertain
By: Jake Gordon | Wed Dec 27, 10:30 am
|Engram was diagnosed with bruised ribs on his left side after X-rays earlier this week returned negative, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Giants finished Sunday's 23-0 loss to the Cardinals without their top two pass catchers, as both Engram and Sterling Shepard (neck). The severity of Shepard's injury remains uncertain, but Engram was fortunate to avoid cracked ribs, which would have almost certainly sidelined him for the season finale against the Redskins
FFToday's Take: Evan Engram has had a nice rookie year already with 64 receptions for 722 yards and 6 touchdowns. Although his rib injury is less severe than originally thought, the team may decide to keep him out of the season finale so check back later in the week for an update. Shepard's season appears to be over following a neck injury sustained last weekend. Engram and Shepard appear to be two of the bright spots on an offense that might see several changes this offseason.
| Sterling Shepard is active|
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Dec 10, 11:30 am
|Giants WR Sterling Shepard looks to me like a guy who's playing. He's out here warming up in cleats, cutting and running, singing along to what's on his headphones. No trainer watching him. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: There were some conflicting reports this morning regarding Shephard's status. He is active and expected to play despite a hamstring injury.
| Sterling Shepard back at practice Wednesday|
"Back to normal"
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Nov 29, 2:30 pm
|Giants WR Sterling Shepard said he’s "back to normal" after an unusually strong bout with migraines - something he said used to happen a lot when he was a kid. (Ralph Vacchiano on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Shephard has missed the last two weeks with migraines but appears to be on track to play this week against the Raiders. Unfortunately, Geno Smith will be his quarterback making Shepard more of a Flex option in Week 13.
| Shepard unlikely to play Thanksgiving night|
Still recovering from migraines
By: Doug Orth | Thu Nov 23, 5:50 pm
|Giants WR Sterling Shepard, listed as questionable for tonight against Washington, is unlikely to play due to his migraine headaches, per source. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)|
FFToday's Take: It casts Evan Engram into even more of a starring role against a Washington Redskins defense that struggles against tight ends. Tavarres King, Roger Lewis and Travis Rudolph will all see more snaps than usual as a result of Shepard's absence, but none of them are worth fantasy consideration in most leagues.
| Sterling Shepard officially DNP Tuesday|
Giants WR could be lynchpin for entire offense this week
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Nov 21, 3:15 pm
|Art Stapleton (@art_stapleton) on Twitter: "Sterling Shepard officially did not practice today. Olivier Vernon and Damon Harrison were limited. #Giants" (Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Shepard's status (he missed Week 11 with migraines) for Thursday's game could be crucial to gauging the game flow and result of that matchup. Eli Manning, Orleans Darkwa and Even Engram should all benefit if Shepard is active and healthy.
| Sterling Shepard officially inactive|
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 19, 11:30 am
|Giants’ WR Sterling Shepard is inactive today vs Chiefs due to migraines. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Giants receiving corps takes another major hit. With high winds expected in this game against the Chiefs, fantasy owners should probably avoid Manning, Tavarres King and Roger Lewis.
| Sterling Shepard may sit with migraines|
Giants could be down the No.1 receiver
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 19, 7:00 am
|The #Giants may be without WR Sterling Shepard, a late addition to their injury report, due to migraines, source says. They’ll check him out closer to kickoff to be sure. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Shephard was added to the injury report on Saturday with an "illness" designation. If he sits, the Giants would be down to Tavarres King and Roger Lewis as starting wide receivers. Expect TE Evan Engram to be the top target if Shepard is declared inactive. For what it's worth, wind could be a factor in this game.
