Injury Alex Collins dealt with migraines in Week 13
Status uncertain for Ravens' RB
By: Doug Orth | Mon Dec 4, 8:00 pm

Baltimore Ravens
Ravens running back Alex Collins dealt with migraines after Sunday's 44-20 win, and coach John Harbaugh deferred any questions about that issue to the team's leading rusher. "I can tell you this, migraines are very real," Harbaugh said. "They're tough." (ESPN - Jamison Hensley)

FFToday's Take: Sterling Shepard missed a pair of games with migraines before returning in Week 13. Going back a few years, Hall-of-Famer Terrell Davis famously dealt with them as well. In other words, migraines aren't a career-ending condition, but they are obviously a concern for any player that has to deal with them. If Collins must sit this week or beyond, Danny Woodhead and Javorius Allen would likely assume most of the workload.

Injury Alex Collins will remain Ravens featured back
West and Woodhead expected to be available
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Nov 16, 1:00 pm

Baltimore Ravens
Mornhinweg said that Alex Collins will remain Ravens featured back even with Terrance West and Danny Woodhead returns (Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter‏)

FFToday's Take: The Ravens are expected to get back Danny Woodhead (hamstring) and Terrance West this week which muddies the running back waters in Baltimore. Collins will likely remain the early-down workhorse with Woodhead being a threat to Javorius Allen's snap count. Perhaps one of these four will be inactive in Week 11.

Injury Danny Woodhead not a lock for Week 11
Will practice Tuesday
By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 13, 7:20 pm

Baltimore Ravens
(Ravens HC John) Harbaugh said that Danny Woodhead (hamstring) will practice tomorrow. Still not sure whether he'll be ready to go by Sunday. (The Baltimore Sun - Jeff Zrebiec)

FFToday's Take: Per beat writer Jeff Zrebiec‏, Woodhead has been limited mostly to individual work in recent weeks, so it sounds as if Tuesday will mark his return to full practice. Even if he doesn't suit up this week, it's a decent bet Woodhead will push Javorius Allen to the side when he is ready and form a committee with Alex Collins. Given how much the Ravens continue to pass, Woodhead will have RB2 upside in PPR leagues when he is cleared.

Injury Danny Woodhead returns to practice
Eligible to return in Week 11
By: Jake Gordon | Tue Oct 31, 3:10 pm

Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens' do-it-all running back returned to practice after spending most of this season on IR, the team announced Tuesday. Danny Woodhead is eligible to return to game action after the Ravens' Week 10 bye. (NFL.com)

FFToday's Take: Danny Woodhead (hamstring) was hand picked for OC Marty Mornhigweg's offense and will undoubtedly have a role in the backfield if he can return to the field this season. He has always been a productive PPR player when healthy so consider adding him now as a speculative play. Alex Collins should continue to see the majority of carries in Baltimore's backfield when Woodhead or Terrance West (calf) return from injury.

Injury Terrance West misses practice Wednesday
Calf injury
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Oct 11, 1:04 pm

Baltimore Ravens
Not practicing: Terrance West (calf), Breshad Perriman, M.Skura (knee), B.Williams (foot), C.Davis (hamstring), T.Williams, J.Smith (Achilles) (Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter‏)

FFToday's Take: Early indications are that West will miss this week's game against the Cardinals leaving backfield work to Javorius Allen and Alex Collins. The Cardinals have allowed the 4th fewest fantasy points to running backs this season.
