2017 Outlook
Depth Chart
Outside of Kevin White, no young receiver has had the start of his career derailed more than Perriman. After missing all of his rookie year, and most of camp last year, he had a very quiet first season. Buried behind a mountain of veteran pass-catchers, Perriman was hardly part of the weekly game plan. With two big targets gone, the Ravens desperately need Perriman to be more reliable, as he should have more chances to produce this season. By most accounts his off-season has been fantastic, but Perriman needs to stay healthy, something that's already been a problem in camp so far. Although he may not finish with gaudy numbers, Perriman still has a ton of upside. If he can gain and keep the trust of Flacco, Perriman has a chance to surprise. Maclin's addition obviously hurts his value, but right now he's a very low risk pick, and if the moons align right, has the chance to provide value.

Jeremy Maclin expected to be main slot WR
Likely to fill Steve Smith role in offense
By: Doug Orth | Thu Jun 15, 11:00 pm

Baltimore Ravens
Jeremy Maclin is expected to be the Ravens' slot receiver because Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman provide speed on the outside and Baltimore lost valuable inside targets Steve Smith Sr., Dennis Pitta and Kamar Aiken this offseason. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Smith's retirement and Pitta's hip injury have freed up a ton of over-the-middle targets for Maclin, who shouldn't have much problem leading the team in receiving if he avoids the injury bug that bit him a season ago. The ex-Kansas City Chief should start with Wallace in two-receiver formations and move inside when Baltimore opts for three-wide sets. Maclin should be a rock-solid fantasy WR3 option in 2017 with WR2 upside.

Ravens land Jeremy Maclin
Two-year deal
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Jun 12, 3:35 pm

Baltimore Ravens
Ravens and WR Jeremy Maclin agree to a two-year deal, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Ravens and Bills were the two teams pursuing Maclin after he was let go from the Chiefs last week. Both teams have holes in their receiving corps especially the Ravens as they lost Steve Smith to retirement. Maclin should be in the starting lineup opposite Mike Wallace with Breshad Perriman rounding out the top three.
