| Greg Olsen misses practice Thursday|

FFToday's Take: Olsen isn't off to a great start this week after leaving last week's game early with pain in his foot. He reportedly didn't suffer an new damage but he appears to be a long shot to play against the Saints in Week 13. Veteran Ed Dickson would start if Olsen sits.

Broken foot in Week 2
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Nov 14, 2:00 pm
|Ron Rivera said Greg Olsen is progressing very well and the plan is still for him to return for the Jets game. That could change, but Rivera likes where he is at. Said it's pretty exciting to get him back. (Steve Reed on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Panthers have a bye this week, but should get their starting tight end back for Week 12. Olsen should immediately step into the starting lineup and be a top two target for Cam Newton along with WR Devin Funchess. Curtis Samuel is out for the year with an ankle injury.
| Panthers concerned about Curtis Samuel injury|
Emerging WR could be lost for rest of season with high ankle sprain
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Nov 14, 10:44 am
|Rookie wideout Curtis Samuel left the 45-21 victory in the third quarter after a Dolphins defensive back rolled on his foot after Samuel dropped a certain touchdown pass. Samuel was on crutches with his left leg heavily bandaged after the game. The initial thought was Samuel had sustained a high ankle sprain, although a team source said the concern is it could be worse. (Charlotte Observer)|
FFToday's Take: This is not good news. The Carolina Panthers traded their top receiver to Buffalo two weeks ago and might have lost their youngest receiver to a season-ending ankle injury Monday night against Miami. Russell Shepard gets a bump and this could also mean more targets for Christian McCaffrey and Devin Funchess.
|Bills acquire WR Kelvin Benjamin|
Panthers receive a third- and a seventh-round pick in the 2018 draft
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Oct 31, 3:35 pm
|The Carolina Panthers have traded top wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin to the Buffalo Bills for a third- and a seventh-round pick in the 2018 draft. By heading to Buffalo, Benjamin will be reunited with Bills head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane, both of whom used to work in Carolina. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: The Bills are certainly a WR-needy team. McDermott is familiar with Benjamin from his days as the defensive coordinator in Carolina. This seems like a lateral move for Benjamin's fantasy value and slight bump up for Devin Funchess in Carolina.
| Kelvin Benjamin expected to play|

FFToday's Take: Benjamin returned to practice Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday. He'll start opposite Devin Funchess. Both have WR2 value against the Bears secondary that rank in the middle of the pack against wide receivers.
| Kelvin Benjamin's Week 7 status in doubt|
Team reportedly a "little concerned" about swelling in knee
By: Doug Orth | Thu Oct 19, 7:30 pm
|Kelvin Benjamin's knee has swelled up after taking a shot in (Week 6). HC Ron Rivera said the team is a "little concerned." Same knee as before. (AP - Steve Reed)|
FFToday's Take: Benjamin sported a huge bruise on the outside of his left knee late last week, but he returned for a few snaps and ultimately enjoyed his finest game of the season. It is unknown whether that bruise is the issue or if this is related to his Week 3 left knee injury in which he was pulled down backwards. He did not miss a game with that injury, but it sounds as if owners should not plan on having KB available this week, leaving Devin Funchess as a potential low-end RB2 against the Bears.
